There's a simple hack to setting and achieving your goals.
It's a secret ingredient, but it really isn't so complicated. (and let's be honest, it's not really a well-kept secret, either)
Are you ready? Here it is:
You have to be able to visualize attaining the goal!
Believe and achieve. That's it.
Keep the thought of the end result (having already been achieved) in the forefront of your mind.
Visualize holding that championship trophy.
Visualize moving into your dream home.
Visualize sitting at the "BIG" desk you'll have after being promoted to your dream position.
Visualize marrying the love of your life. Holding hands, while taking vows…
Whatever the goal is – visualize the end result.
It's not just a daydream though. You've got to attach yourself to the goal emotionally.
See it in complete detail.
Write it down.
Draw it.
Create a vision board so you can look at it, every day, several times a day.
Continually remind yourself WHY you are doing all the smaller steps to get there.
When you use visualization in this way, it allows your mind to accept the goal as if it has already been achieved.
Opportunities you never recognized, that were always there, are now noticeable.
The key is acceptance, believe it or not. Because you're able to see yourself at the finish line already, new ideas and new challenges make themselves available to you.
You have to be willing to accept your new possibilities and the results that follow.
I know, sounds too easy to be true. That's because so many of us are experts at self-sabotage. We WANT to achieve, so why don't my results change?
Because somewhere deep down, subconsciously, we're operating against ourselves.
Visualization is what's allowed everything around you to become real.
Everything started as an idea in someone’s mind and then became a real, tangible thing. It was first visualized and then it was created physically.
What are your top three goals? Do you see yourself achieving them?
Can you imagine what your life will look like ONCE YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED YOUR GOAL?
Everything begins with an idea.
